We want to extend a HUGE congratulations to Nevaeh Hall on an amazing performance at the State Championship Track and Field Meet at Jesse Owens Stadium this weekend!  Nevaeh is returning to Valley Forge on Monday as a TWO TIME ALL OHIO WINNER!!!!  

 

Nevaeh is the STATE RUNNER UP in the long jump! Her final jump in the first round of 18 feet put her in the finals and tied her for the 2nd spot. Her last jump in the finals broke the tie and boosted her to the second spot on the podium.  

 

The competition was intense in the 100 meters and 200 meters. On Friday, 

Nevaeh had  another school breaking record run in the semis for the 100 meter dash with a run of 11.91 but missed the finals by .04 seconds. She finished overall 10th place in the 100 meters!

 

Nevaeh ran another school record breaking run of 24.47 seconds in the semi finals of the 200 meters grabbing her the 9th spot for the finals.  The girls that finished 7th and 8th in the semi-finals ran a 24.45 and the girl that finished 10th ran a 24.48.  In the finals for the 200 meters on Saturday, Nevaeh was able to finish with another ALL-OHIO finish of 8th place overall from a very challenging lane 9 with a time of 24.81 seconds.    

 

Nevaeh was able to compete at the highest level under extreme pressure. She rose to the occasion and we are so very proud. It was incredible to see her on that track and on that podium!  Thank you to all for your support of Nevaeh in this postseason. These are memories that will last a lifetime!
