Over this past weekend, the Patriots ran at the OHSAA district course located at Lorain County Community College. The weather and the time in which Division 1 ran made the course conditions less than desirable, but most of the team produced times that were very similar to the prior week in better conditions. This was a great way to end most of the runner’s seasons.  Senior Nathan Demarest accomplished his next goal of the season, which was qualifying for Regionals. He needed to place top 36 in a field of over 180 boys, and he placed Top 8 with a time of 16:35. He will be running next weekend at Boardman High School for the Regional meet with hopes of being in the Top 28 that qualify for States.
