The Great Lakes Conference Championship Meet

Today was wet and rainy but that did not stop Nate Demarest’s mission to race his best. He set a few goals going into this weekend, first, be first team (Top 8), go faster than the school record, and be under 16mins. Nate achieved all but the latter. Nate was 5th overall in the GLC, making him first team. He accomplished that in a time of 16:07 which ties the school record, officially making him the fastest Valley Forge XC runner with Deepak Sharma. He and the rest of the Patriots will run next week at LCCC, in hopes to prolong his season to Regionals and snag that elusive 15:59.
